Billy F. (Sr.) Curtis

Billy F. Curtis Sr., 83, of Cedar Bluff, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017.

Billy was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late James and Pearl Curtis, he sang with the Homeland Harmony Quartet for 26 years, was inducted into the Tri-State Gospel Music Hall of Fame, a member of Grace Point Church of God, and enjoyed fishing, and watching westerns.

He is preceded in death by his brothers; Calvin, Ordway, James, Kenneth, Clarence, and Flayvis Curtis, sister; Thelma Booth, and twin sister: Lilly Curtis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Wilda Curtis, daughter; Angela Curtis, son; Billy (Lena) Curtis Jr., brother; Don Curtis, sisters; Louise Roberts, Barbara (Robert) Yerbey, grandson; Trey Curtis, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 31 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Shane Swafford officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood East Cemetery.
