To Frank, Sheila & Lisa: My sincere condolences on the passing of a great friend and lovely spirit, Charlotte. I am so shocked to learn of her passing. Had been trying to find her for several years and came across a faded picture of her, when she became a Lioness of our (then) Lioness club, sitting with my daughter, Vivianne. Knew this fabulous person for at least 10 years, as she lived in St. Thomas and surely missed her, when she left. I believe that Charlotte lived a full and blessed life and please remember, God is always in your corner at a time like this ---and I am also. My prayers go up for you all and the rest of the family.

Sheila and family, Below is a beautiful quote, that has comforted us when we've lost a loved one. We hope it comforts you.

"Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity of sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Pray, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was, let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well." (author unknown)

We know of Charlotte Catherine Comito through her son Frank who has contributed mightily to the growth and development of the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Frank has always spoken so fondly of his mother and of her influence on shaping his life and business acumen. We have all therefore benefited from her life albeit indirectly.

So I express condolences to Frank and to the Comito family from my family and on behalf of all of those who were touched directly and indirectly by the life of Mrs Comito. May she rest in peace.

Dear family, happy memories of Charlotte continue to be with you. But when sadness comes, may these promises from the Scriptures help you to endure. Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And he will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalms 34:18; Isaiah 25:8 NWT. There will be a wonderful future when people all over the earth will not suffer illness ever again. No resident will say: " I am sick." Isaiah 33:24; Psalms 37:11, 29 NWT. Peace be with you.

My sincere condolences to Frank & Donna and to ALL the family and friends she leaves behind. She always made time for us to get together during her visits to Nassau and for me it was such a pleasure playing catch up in our life's events.

Charlotte was a truly lovely person and will be missed. She would want us all to be happy and to remember the good times with her. 'Life is eternal and love is immortal...death is only a boundary line....and a boundary line is nothing, just the limit of our sight'.

Our love and thoughts go out to you and all the family. xxxx

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences. May you find comfort in warm memories. And the coming promises from the Bible.
Such as Revelation 21 : 3,4 " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say :' Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. ' "

Dear Sheila,
I know there is tremendous hurt in your heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you . Your mom was a treasure . Always smiling. Always willing to listen and give a kind word. She worked hard and was always willing to help wherever she could. I could always tell you love your Mom very much... it was apparent to all, especially to Charlotte .
God be with you,
