David Ray Lunsford

David Ray Lunsford, 82, of Ooltewah, went to be with the Lord on May 25th, 2017.

David lovingly served Christ, his country, his community, and his family. From his witty wisdom to his guitar picking, David Ray was a model of manhood who made his way into many friends' hearts with his boyish grin and his big blue eyes. He's simply irreplaceable.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Lunsford, his 5 children: Connie (David) Large, Karen (Reuben) Schwartz, Kathy (Bo) Stewart, Tracy (Shon) Bidon, and Phillip Lunsford, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren (plus 2 on the way), brother, Robert (Peggy) Lunsford, and sister-in-law, Nora Lunsford.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Monday, May 29, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 30, at 2 PM.
