Edna (Partin) Kidwell

Edna Partin Kidwell, 92, of East Ridge passed away Tuesday, August 08, 2017.  She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Prime Time Players for many years.  Edna had also served as the organist for Avondale and Lake Vista Methodist Churches for many years.  She retired from Sam Chester and Associates after many years of service.  Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Erbie Kidwell; and sister and brother in law, Billie Ann and George Spencer.  She enjoyed doing needlepoint and various crafts and hosting family gatherings and holidays.

Survivors include her son, Roger (Brenda) Kidwell, Chattanooga; sister, Mary Jean (Cameron) Peck, Lexington, KY; grandsons, Evan (Nikki Hampstead) Kidwell, East Ridge, and Taylor (Anna) Kidwell, Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:30 P. M., Thursday, August 10, 2017 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lanny Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in National Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Organ Fund at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1505 N Moore Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411.
