i just heard about Greggs passing. We worked together in Kboxville for many years . An honest and hard working individual . God always has a plan for one who dies young .

No one wants to lose a dear love one like Gregg, he meant so much to his family and friends. But when these things happen, we often wonder will we ever get the opportunity see our love ones again? Of course only God can answer such a question. But he makes this point very clear in his word the Bible. He tells us this: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his ( that is, Jesus) voice and come out" ( John 5:28,29 ). He even went so far as to use his son Jesus and others to resurrect ones back to life, when he was here on the earth as a witness that it can and will be done. Gregg truly had a love for his family and that love will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Sending hugs and prayers to Vann, Bruce, Kathy, Gwen, Sarah, Chris and all spouses, children, grandkids and extended family, Your description of him fit to a 'T." He so loved all of his family - and your family is so easy to love. The hard thing about being such a close family is how fiercely the loss of Gregg will be felt; the good thing is that you all have each other for support and comfort.
May the next Vols game be rooted for in his honor, no matter what team you are loyal to. And may God lift His countenance on all of you, and give you His peace. Be filled with the good memories--
In Sympathy & Love,
Carol Owens

We are terribly sorry to hear of Gregg's passing. I met Gregg in 1996 when my mother and I moved to Knoxville. I became best friends with his step-son, Chris Howell. I have fond memories of Gregg and our family sends our prayers to those who are grieving during this time. He was a good man.
