May 15, 1984 ~ April 4, 2024 (age 39) 39 Years Old

Tribute

Hannah Michelle Brewer of Rock Spring, Georgia passed away on Thursday April 4, 2024.

She was a wonderful mother to her two daughters, Layla and Ryleigh. She was a devoted teacher to her G-NET students at Saddle Ridge Elementary School and a faithful member of New Heights Baptist Church. Hannah was born as the oldest of four girls to Ron and Esther Dyer. She graduated from Tennessee Temple High School and Tennessee Temple University where she graduated with a degree in elementary education. After graduation, Hannah moved to Miami, Florida to teach at Westwood Christian School. She met Caleb Brewer in Florida, they married and moved to Tampa, Florida and had two daughters. Due to Caleb’s deployment with the United States Air Force, Hannah moved to the Chattanooga area and then to Rock Spring, Georgia. Hannah especially loved spending time with her children, raising them and making memories together, going to the beach and going on family trips and adventures. Hannah loved deeply, laughed often, and brought energy and warmth to anyone she was around.

Hannah is survived by her daughters Layla (age 11) and Ryleigh (age 9), her parents Ron and Esther Dyer, her grandmother, Susan Mayo, her sisters, Melody Litchfield (Adam), Kellie Harvey (Brandon) in Chattanooga, and Candace Dyer in Petersburg, Virginia. She is also survived by Caleb Brewer along with family and relatives.

The family would like to thank many, many people during this challenging time, especially Kassie Blackwell, her best friend and co-teacher at Saddle Ridge Elementary, Pastor Tom and Mrs. Phillips, and the members of New Heights Baptist Church, Pastor Greg and Karen Powell of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank, the fellowship life group of Calvary Baptist, and the numerous family and friends that brought food, fellowship, visits, support, prayer, and love to our family in our time of need. Thank you to Heritage Funeral Home and Hearth Hospice.

A celebration of life will be held at the New Heights Baptist Church, 158 Ooltewah Ringgold Rd, on Saturday April 6, with visitation from 11-2, and memorial service at 2 P.M. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Hannah battled cancer for the past 5 years, while still living life to the fullest. She passed away at her home peacefully and was surrounded by her family as she took her last breath. She is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to New Heights Baptist Church (Hannah’s expenses): https://www.nhbcringgold.org/serve/donate or 158 Ooltewah-Ringgold Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736.
