Welcome to the memorial page for

"Lady Jane" Bradham

September 3, 1951 ~ October 1, 2017 (age 66) 66 Years Old

“Lady Jane” Bradham, 66, of Chattanooga, died peacefully Sunday, October 1, 2017 in a local hospital surrounded by her family and friends.

A longtime resident of North Carolina, Jane had lived in Chattanooga for the past five years. She was dedicated to her family, especially her four grandchildren, Phenix, Brennus, Caleb and Keller, who brought her great joy.

Although the Blue Ridge Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway will always be her home, she greatly enjoyed these last five years living the life she loved in Chattanooga.  She poured her heart and soul into serving at St. Elmo United Methodist Church and in its Food Pantry Ministry where she was affectionately known as “Lady Jane.”  She dearly loved her church and they loved her.

Anyone that knows “Lady Jane”, also knows, that she was an avid University of  North Carolina Tarheels fan.  She started the Facebook page, “Carolina Girls” and developed a huge following of like-minded UNC fans.

Jane left this world as a child of God and we are assured that she is now resting in the arms of Jesus.  She made her mark on many lives through her unending love, her inspirational messages, and humor in the face of life’s daily challenges.  She was a true example of God’s grace and love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack D and Daisy Hughes, of Pineville, NC.

Jane is survived by her children, Rob (Melissa) Bradham, Dalton, GA,  John (Marquita) Moore and Carrie (Eric) Ciborski all of Ashville, NC;  4 grandchildren, Phenix and Brennus Griswold, Caleb and Keller Bradham; her dearest friend, Mike Rice;  brother, David Hughes.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 3 PM at St. Elmo United Methodist Church in Chattanooga with Pastors Gary Ihfe and Anna Golladay officiating.   If attending, we welcome you to wear Carolina blue in honor of Jane.

Memorial contributions may be made to  St. Elmo United Methodist Church or The Community Food Pantry at St. Elmo UMC.
