Mary Jo Keith

Mary Jo Davis Keith, 75, of East Brainerd went home to be with the Lord, Friday, February 2, 2018.

Born in Florence, AL, Mary Jo lived in Chattanooga for many years and graduated from Central High School in 1961.  After meeting the love of her life, Donald, his work transferred them to Huntsville, Alabama, then back to Chattanooga for several years where they raised their girls before being transferred to Memphis, TN for 14 years.

In 2002, MaryJo and Don were able to settle back in Chattanooga.

 She retired from Memorial Hospital after many years of service as a Credentialing Specialist.

For many years Mary Jo was a member at Central Baptist Church-Woodmore and presently she was an active member of Grace Works Church where she was head of the Hospitality Committee.    MaryJo was co-owner of M & M Catering and was very gifted with her talent of cooking delicious dinners and catering events.

She was the daughter of the late Roy and Lucille Davis and was preceded in death by her husband in 2009, Donald R. Keith;  sister and brother-in-law, Wanda Sue and Mike Camp.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Keith and Stephanie (Ron) Crabtree;  brother, Roy (Sheena) Davis;  grandchildren, Lindsey and Ronnie Crabtree all of Chattanooga;  nieces and nephews, Michelle (David) Apps, David (Becky) Camp, Tyler (Carly) Davis, Garrett (Brittnie) Davis;   sister-in-law, Carol Cox and several great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 6 at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bill Owens and Rev. David Apps officiating.  Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Ron Crabtree, Ronnie Crabtree, Hayden Apps, Tyler Davis, Garrett Davis and David Camp serving as pallbearers.
