Ruth (Wilson) Walker

Ruth Walker, 89, of Rossville, GA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

Ruth was a member of Burning Bush Baptist Church; she was an avid Gardner, and loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Roxie Wilson; sister, Bonnie Berry; brothers, Red Wilson, Rev. C.O. Wilson, and Bud Wilson.

She is survived by her loving husband, William “Dub” Walker; daughter, Ronna Kirkland; sons, Craig (Nancy) Walker, Johnathan “Scott” Walker; sisters, Bobbie (Charles) Gray, Linda Monroe; special nephew, Don Wilson; grandchildren, Brandi Kirkland, Reagan Walker, Jade (Michael) Mouton, Haley (Matt) Roos, Misty Walker, Marcus Walker; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 31 at 1:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
