Mary, Susan, and Debbie,

I am so so sorry! I loved Pat like my own little brother though we haven't kept in touch in a long time. To me, he will always be that adolescent, "trying to fit in an adult world", adorable kid laughing at my misfortune with a large rock and a new car at the cabin at Tellico!

Once again, I was in Africa when you suffered your loss so I wasn't here for the visitation or funeral. I know how incredibly close you all were and I wish I could have been there for you. But I hope remembering that adorable young man in his karate uniform and infectious smile opening the back door with "Hey Caveman," will bring to you the joy it brought to me!!

You're in my prayers,

Jim

Dear Mary, Susan and Debbie,
I was so sorry to hear of Parker's passing. He was such a great guy with a "larger than life" personality that lit up a room. I know you have many memories to cherish but the hole in your lives will be hard. May God give you His peace and love today and in the future. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Ones,
We were so sorry for your loss and grieve with you. I hope wonderful memories will help sustain you. Our love and prayers will continue with you for many days to come. He was so dear to our mother, and we will always remember his thoughtfulness and generosity. He truly was a very special and wonderfully kind man!

I was so shocked and saddened today to see this in the paper . Haven't seen Parker in a few months but as any time working for him or his mom or sister , I felt more like a friend or part of the family by the way I was treated .
Parker was one of kind and I always enjoyed talking with him whether it be on the phone or at his home .
He will truly be missed by one and all but leaves so many good memories of himself behind .
Heaven is now in for some delicious surprises as they welcome in the new chef .
May God bless the 3 ladies of his life with peace and happiness .
We'll miss you Parker .
Jim

That larger than life personality, the laughs, the good times, the great meals, the drinks, the wonderful conversations...it’s those memories we now hold onto. Parker left such an impression on all he came in contact with.

I came across this verse the other day and it brought me comfort. I lost my Mom and Dad both this past year, 2 months apart. There was a huge hole that only God could fill. I hope this scripture can bring you the same comfort

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (Isaiah 43:2, NLT)

May God help you through your time of sorrow.

I was saddened to learn of Parker’s passing, such a great man. I fondly remember the lunch he prepared for your Parish Nurse Class, Debbie. What a sumptuous feast we enjoyed. And his voice, smooth as silk. May you be comforted by those who know and love you in the days ahead. There are no directions on how to be a widow but you have family and friends just a phone call away when you need someone to just listen or help you. Prayers, my friend.

Susan and Mary and Debbie,

I was so saddened to hear that Pat had passed away. I know how close you all were and you know how much your family means to our family! We are praying for your sweet family and will see you Saturday! I know my Grandmother(Susan's 2nd mom!) will be waiting in Heaven with open arms to welcome Pat into the presence of his Lord and Savior! Your entire family was so good to my grandmother and you all took such good care of her. Pat was one of her favorites and she loved to kid with him and she always bragged on his delicious dinners he would prepare for her and your family! They definitely had a special bond! We love you all so much!! Please let us know if we can do anything for you all! We are just a phone call away!

Lots of Love,

Tammye
