Ann Jeanette (Jan) Evatt, 87, of East Brainerd went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Evatt retired from Renaissance Diagnostic Hospital after 20 years of service. She was formerly employed with Dupont.
She was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church since 1962 and also the Women of Worth.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bill Evatt, four sisters and one brother.
She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, cherished Nonnie and a firm believer that everyone should be treated with love and kindness.
Mrs. Evatt is survived by her children, Julie (Rick) Brackett; Alan (Kelley) Evatt, David (Donna) Evatt, and John (Joni) Evatt. 8 grandchildren, Natalie and Chloe Brackett, Corey, Ian, Justine, Jeremy, Jacob, & Elianna Evatt. Sister, Lorene Douglas; Brother, Donald (Sue) Freeland; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
