Anthony "Tony" Bartlett

Anthony (Tony) H. Bartlett, age 84, of Chattanooga passed away Monday, June 28, 2021.

Tony was born February 13, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Spokane Washington until he joined the Navy at age 17. He served in the Navy until 1962. He was married to his wife Louise on October 10, 1959 in Sacramento, California and through their 62 year marriage they lived in Miami, FL.,  Ringgold, Ga; Houston, TX;  and finally settling in Chattanooga, TN where they resided for the past 30 years.Tony was a devoted Husband, Dad, and Grandad and his family was his true passion in life. He was retired from over 40 years in the car business.

Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hill;  father, Harold Bartlett; brother, Bob Hensley; brother, John Hill and sister, Margie Hensley

Tony is survived by his wife, Louise Bartlett; his four children, Tony Bartlett and wife Regina, Mike Bartlett, Mark Bartlett, and Lisa McVay; his seven grandchildren, Amy Dillon and husband Chance, Chase McVay and wife Brittany, Christian McVay, Nikki Applegate, Noah Bartlett, Destiny Baker and husband Eric, and Crystal Bartlett; his five great-grandchildren, Adelaide Dillon, Ellie Applegate, Rylee Baker, Grayson McVay, and Olivia McVay and his three brothers, Steve Hensley, Mark Hensley, and David Hill.

Funeral arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel. A tribute page may be found on the Funeral Home website where sentiments and condolences to the family may be added. A memorial service for Tony will be held on Thursday, July 8 at 2pm at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN; with a visitation a half-hour before services.
