Beth Wooddy, 68, of Chattanooga passed away unexpectedly at her home Thursday September 30, 2021.
She was born in Cedartown, GA the daughter of the late Albert M Wilson, Jr. and Dorothy Wilson Curry.
She was a graduate of Tyner High School and followed in her mother’s footsteps as the school bookkeeper at CSLA for over 26 years.
After she retired she became adventurous buying her first Harley and developed a love of riding where she was a member of the local HOG Group and Southern Cruisers Riding Club. To all of her riding family, she was affectionately called Lamb Chop.
The last 12 years she and Pork Chop have spent their lives together, enjoying family and friends on the road. Riding her motorcycle with Pork Chop is where she wanted to be.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and the father of her children, Ronald Wooddy.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband, Dennis Elliot, better known to her as “Pork Chop”; daughter, Dyea Tumlin (Jeremy); son, Tyler Wooddy (Jenni); Brothers, Albert M. Wilson III (Donna), David Curry (Donna); Sisters, Cathy Bradley (Don), Lierin Curry; and beloved granddaughter, Kaylie Robertson.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday October 3 in the funeral home chapel.
