Betty Ann (Moon) Hicks

Betty Hicks, 86, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

Betty was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church and was a proud member of the Greg Bolton Sunday School Class. She retired from Olan Mills, and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Anna Moon; husband, Buck Hicks; sisters, Mary Ruth Weaver, Evelyn Love, Theda Waldridge, Joyce Housley; and brothers, Harold and Bob Moon.  

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Karen) Hicks, Brad (Donna) Hicks; brothers, Rusty (Joyce) Moon, Jack (Carole) Moon; grandchildren, Travis (Rachel) Hicks, Tanya (Mike) Deakins, Rick (Trina) Hicks; great grandchildren, Rachael and Sarah Deakins, Kersten and Morgan Hicks; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 2 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Walliser officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
