Bill Echols

Bill Echols, age 93, of Chattanooga, passed away April 4 after surgery and underlying health problems. He was surrounded by family.

Bill married Elizabeth Sample Echols in 1947. She preceded him in death in 1984.

He is survived by daughters, Janet Echols Stansel and Debra Lynne Echols, and their husbands, (Ray and Mac), Jan’s children,( Katherine Fox, and Andrew Fox), and Andrew’s two sons,( Lars and Bishop); and sister. Helen Echols Demetros.

Family is grateful to have been present with him for the last 36 hours.  Bill had requested that there be no service.   Therefore, his family asks that you ‘lift a glass’ and toast him and his full and vibrant life.
