Bonnie (Cox) Douglas

Bonnie Douglas, 81, died on Friday, October 15, 2021.

Bonnie was born and raised in Habersham, TN, and graduated from Wynn High School. She went on to work at Hewitt Soap Co. in Ohio and the retired from Brock Candy Company. Bonnie was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George, Sr. and Martha Cox; her siblings, Ann Jeffers, Linda Evans, John Cox, and George Cox, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carl Douglas; her daughter, Pamela (Richard) Prichard; her siblings, Kenny Cox, Jerry Cox, and Patsy Marlow; her grandchildren, Benjamin Hornsby and Blake Hornsby; as well as extended family and friends. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 20, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Gary Clark officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga and the caretakers who helped with Bonnie’s dementia over the past few months.
