C. Stephen Kinnear

C. Stephen Kinnear, age 91, of East Brainerd, passed away on April 3, 2018.

Mr. Kinnear was a veteran of the 43^rd. Infantry Division in World War II, serving primarily in the Philippine Islands Campaign in the South Pacific.

After the war, He attended the University of Illinois, the University of Miami, married Marilyn in 1950, and passed the CPA exam in 1953.

His business career centered on Accounting, financial, and banking matters.

Following retirement in 1990, he and Marilyn moved to Chattanooga, where they remained until their deaths.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marilyn E. Kinnear, his parents and two older brothers.

Survivors include daughters, Lynda (Mike) Bosworth of Lafayette, GA., Susan (Carlo) Falco of Royse City, Texas, Lori (Ken) Buker of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, and a number of grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Chris Ehlers officiating.
