Charles Howard Campbell

Charles H. Campbell, 89, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021.

Charles was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, a member of the Masonic Lodge 558, 32nd degree Scottish Rites, and Shriners. He retired as general manager from Willwear Hosiery after 44 years. He was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church and was part of the Margaret Pennington Sunday School Class. He loved golfing, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Campbell; parents, Willie Clift and Willie Moore Campbell; sister, Wilma Ramsey Hicks; and 2nd wife, Velma Roberts Campbell.

He is survived by his children, Randy (Leigh) Campbell, Rusty (Dina) Campbell, Kim (Mike) Love; grandchildren, Jennifer Campbell Dueker, Wendy Campbell Vastano, Erin Campbell Turner, Ryan Campbell, Cara Love Seebeck, Brad Love; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID pandemic, the family will hold a private memorial service in the funeral home chapel.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 19 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
