Charles Edward Miller

Charles Edward Miller, 81, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, January 4, 2021, at a local hospital.

He was born in McMinnville, TN, on February 25, 1939. Before his retirement, he was the owner of Art Printing in Lookout Valley. He was an elder emeritus of Brainerd Presbyterian Church, where he also served as a deacon, choir member and Sunday School teacher. He served as the Moderator of the Presbytery of the Southeast of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in 1998-1999.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ruben B. and Margaret (Moore) Miller: his first wife-Beverly Gail Thompson Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Miller; children-Sandy Miller and Teresa (Charles) Byers; grandchildren-Jeremy (Crystal)Reed, Jennifer (Jason) Chandler and Aimee (Rodney) Penland; great-grandchildren-Andy Reed, Allyson Reed, Skylar Henley, Rylan Chandler, Christian Chandler, and McKenzie Chandler; sister-in -law Denise French.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of 4-South at Memorial Hospital for their loving care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
