Charlotte Ann (Calkins) Ward

Charlotte Ann Ward, 90, of Chattanooga passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in a local hospital.

A resident of Nehalem, Oregon for 35 years, Mrs. Ward has made her home in Chattanooga for the past 9 years.   She was a retired cosmetologist and served as a volunteer in several organizations in Oregon as well as Hospice of Chattanooga.  Mrs. Ward also held membership in the Lions Club.

She never met a stranger and enjoyed women’s basketball , baseball as well as the Chattanooga Lookouts.

Mrs. Ward was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband,  Royal Ward.

Survivors are her three sons, Larry (Nell) Ward, Chattanooga,  Richard (Terry) Ward, Arley, AL., and Robert (Tanya) Ward, Seaside, Oregon; brother, Delbert Calkins, Oregon;  seven grandchildren,  Jeff Ward, Angie Rogers, Megan Adkins, Randy Ward, Brian Ward, Corey Ward, and April Thomas; nineteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren.

A family burial will be held in Oregon.
