Mrs. Chiquita Colleen Moss age 86, of Harrison, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Mrs. Moss was born in Bear Creek, AL. on September 10, 1935 the daughter of the late Rabon Raven Vickery and Geneva Blanch Vickery. She grew up on her family’s farm in Walnut Grove, AL and was the oldest of nine children.
She enjoyed working as a secretary and worked for Dixie Yarns for 42 years.
She was a wonderful seamstress by hobby and loved to hem the pants or skirt of all friends, family and church members at no charge. She was very witty and loved a good laugh but very headstrong and if she had a goal in mind, she would not take no for an answer. She would push fiercely to the front of the line and demand what she wanted in a nice southern lady way.
Mrs. Moss was strong in her faith and was an active member of East Brainerd Church of Christ and previously, Ridgedale Church of Christ. She loved to cook and made everyone feel welcome in her home and everywhere she went. She had a smile and glass of sweet tea for everyone. She was an avid reader of books and almost read a book per day and her favorites were mystery thrillers. She had the most infectious smile that would light up a room.
She loved her children and family and lived a good long life full of love.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Billy Ray Moss; a son, David Moss; two brothers, Benjamin Vickery and Waymon R. Vickery; and a granddaughter, Nicole Moss.

Norman, Claire Moss, and Paige Moss; Grandson, Todd Moss; three great-grandsons, Tristen and Alex Finley, Levi Carter Norman; sister, LaJuana Burgess and her brother-in-law, Bob Burgess; five brothers, Anthony Vickery, Johnathan Vickery and sister-in-law, Patricia Vickery, Dale Vickery, Dexter Vickery and sister-in-law, Jane Vickery, and Dwayne Vickery and sister-in-law, Betty Vickery; several nieces and nephews.
