Dallas Ray Cross

Dallas Ray Cross, 70, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.

Dallas was an engineer in the nuclear industry for 42 years. He attended Woodland Park Baptist Church. He loved to be active and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling with his wife and loved ones. Dallas loved his family and spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas P. and Marjorie Hendrix Cross.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sheila Smith Cross; daughter, Gretchen and son-in-law Tommy Hammel; son, Jamison Cross; brothers, Don (Schella) Cross, Jim (Debbie) Cross; granddaughters, Dallas and Fergie Hammel; and several nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, January 9 in the funeral home chapel with Mickey Hammel officiating.
