Herman Darrell Crutcher, 88, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017.

Darrell was a piano tuner and technician in the Chattanooga area for over 60 years and owner of Crutcher Pianos.  He was an active member of the McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church and loved his family, camping and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Prentice Russell Crutcher and Mattie Belle Crutcher and his brother, Jennings Crutcher.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Reba Cates Crutcher who was his high school and lifetime sweetheart, his brothers James and Mayo Crutcher, his sons, Marvin and Kent Crutcher, his grandchildren, Sean Crews, Kimberly Rollins, Joshua Crutcher and Rachel Crutcher, four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many adoring nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, June 8, at McDonald Rd. Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Kent Crutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Collegedale Memorial Park with Pastor Dwight Herod officiating.
