David Allen Ottinger

David Allen Ottinger, 62, of Hixson passed away Saturday November 16, 2019 in a local health care center.

Born in Whitwell, TN, David has lived in Chattanooga and Hixson most of his life.

David was formerly employed with Rock City for several years and was a member of First Church of Ft. Oglethorpe.

David was so excited about going to heaven and asked if he would get to play the guitar with Elvis when he got there.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin (Doc) & Patty Ottinger; sister, Bernice Ottinger; uncles & aunts, Norman Ottinger; Rusty ,Vicki and Betty Ottinger;  Billy & Ann Ottinger; and cousin, Del Ottinger.

He is survived by his loving & devoted wife, Jeanette Ottinger;  sister, Reba (Buster) Davis, Red Bank;   brother, Leslie (Susie) Ottinger, Crossville, TN; many nieces & nephews;  aunt, Joyce Ottinger;  cousins, Gail Farris, both of Montgomery, AL;  Randy and Barry Ottinger, both of Wetumpka, AL;  Marty Ottinger, Harrison; Curtis & Tim Ottinger, both of Ooltewah; special friends, Ronda Walker and Jill McBee.
