David Gray Salladay, 76, of Chattanooga, passed away on March 2, 2019.
David was born in Bethesda, MD to David and Margaret Salladay on September 14, 1942. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a master’s in chemical engineering. He worked as a chemical engineer at TVA for 29 years. He was a devoted husband and father, an avid gardener, known for his generous spirit and cacophonous laughter.
Burial will take place at Forrest Hills cemetery later this summer.
David is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jenny.
David is survived by his son, Gray, his daughter in law, Megan, his brother, Phil, his granddaughter, Jenny Wren and his dog, Alana.
