David "Wesley" Dalton, 68, of Chickamauga passed away suddenly July 1, 2018.
Wesley was a graduate of Kirkman High School and received a B.S. degree in engineering from UTC. He later earned a master's degree in engineering and business administration.
After completing his Masters, Wesley worked for TVA in both Chattanooga and Nashville. He spent most of his career with TVA managing power system facilities and real estate assets throughout the southeast region, during which time he also earned his CCIM designation.
After retiring at the age of 52, Wesley returned to work at TVPPA as project manager and assisted in the construction of the TVPPA office building.
Mr. Dalton was the recipient of numerous awards and honors from many professional and sports related groups for his involvement. Wesley was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David A. Dalton Sr. and Bertha Fields Dalton and his beloved Pepper Cat.
Wesley is survived by his brother, David A. Dalton, Jr. (Krystye) , Chattanooga; two sisters, Brenda Pargeon, Chattanooga and Linda Morrow (Norman), Spring Hill, TN; nieces and nephews, Rhonda Davis (Tommy), Russell Pargeon (Kristi), Julie Hull (Bruce), Gina Diamond and David James Dalton; adopted daughter, Brittany Dalton Berger, Charleston, TN.
Services will be held Friday, July 6 at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Norman Morrow, Russell Pargeon, Eric Davis, Tom Davis, David James Dalton and Gary Totton serving as pallbearers.
