Donald Gary Ray

Donald Gary Ray,  72, of Ooltewah, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home.

He was a longtime resident of Ooltewah and retired from Heatec after 30 years of service.

Mr. Ray was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church where he had formerly served as a deacon.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jean Ray.

Survivors are his daughter, Staci Leigh (Brett) Miller, Ooltewah;  sister, Deanna Crumb, Chattanooga;  brothers, Joseph (Betty) Ray, Ooltewah and Wendell (Linda) Ray, Calhoun, GA; several nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
