Douglas (Doug) H. Jones

Douglas (Doug) Jones, 47, of East Brainerd died unexpectedly Monday, May 11, 2020.

A resident of Chattanooga since 1981, Doug worked in the construction industry and  did some professional modeling in the late 1980’s.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pastor and Mrs. J. Howard Jones; and Herman & Esta Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, April Jones; daughter, Alexys Jones, Cleveland; parents, David and Shirlee Jones, Chattanooga;  sister, Stephanie (Derek) Helinski, Adrian,, MI; three nephews; two step-sons, Trevor and Devyn Penney, Chattanooga.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
