Edith Ann (Reno) Bishop

Edith Ann Bishop, 92 of Chattanooga, TN, died on Monday, November 9, 2020.

She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, graduate from Central High School and was of the Baptist faith.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lilly Mae Reno; her husband, Alexander Bishop; three brothers, John D. Reno, Charlie R. Reno and James A. Reno and three sisters, Linda Gale Scoggins, Betty Jo Reno and Rosa L. Walden.

Survivors include her son, John W. (Betty) Bishop; brother, Kenneth E. Reno and two grandchildren, Ashley C. Bishop and John A Bishop.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 18, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Carl Ball officiating. 

Per the current health situation and mandate of the Hamilton County Mayor, visitors must adhere to all CDC guidelines, including social distancing and the wearing of facial coverings for visitation and/or services.
