Evelyn (Lowe) Smith

Mrs. Evelyn Lowe Smith age 75, of Chattanooga, TN, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

Mrs. Smith was born in Baltimore, MD, on March 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Albert Glenn Lowe and Lola Jewel Hickey Lowe. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith retired from social security as a claims representative for over thirty-five years of service. Mrs. Smith loved her family and close friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Smith.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Kate McDonough (John); two grandchildren, Temperance “Tempe” and Violette McDonough; two sisters, Elizabeth Corzine (Charles) and Claudia Clark Beard (Leonard) and six nieces and nephews, Lisa Patti (Joe), David Corzine (Wendy), Keith Corzine (Karen), Mark Corzine (Emily), Adam Clark (Jessica), and April Banker (Paul).

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 1:00 P.M., Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will be held Saturday at 4:30 CST at Boiling Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at Heritage Funeral Home.
