Floyd Thomas Chamberlain

Floyd Thomas Chamberlain, 89, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

Floyd served proudly in the US Air Force; he was an avid gardener, and member of Silver Sneakers (YMCA), Scenic City Friends, and Tyner United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Chamberlain; and brother, Bob Chamberlain.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Nancy Sheridan Chamberlain; son, Tommy (Sheri) Chamberlain; daughter, Katy (Tim) Lane of Normal, IL; brother, A.B Chamberlain of Griffin, GA; sister, Angeline Graham; grandchildren, Adam (Jill) Lane of Fort Wayne, IN, Mallory (Greg)Carter, and Nathan and Nicholas Chamberlain; 3 great-grandchildren; niece, Beth (Jesse) Andrews; and nephew, Bill (Chris) Chamberlain.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 2 at Tyner United Methodist Church with Rev. Charlie Harrison and Rev. William Sheridan officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
