Freddie Harris Fryar

Freddie Harris Fryar, 80, of Lookout Valley passed away Monday evening, April 22, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Ringgold, GA.

A resident of Lookout Valley since the age of 12, Mrs. Fryar retired from the City of Chattanooga after 30 years of service in the Fire Prevention and Arson Department.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Allen “Sonny” Fryar; and two sisters, Ramona Bowman and Wilda Stokes.

She is survived by her children, Alana Fryar, Chattanooga; Lance “Bogey” (Kristy) Fryar, Chattanooga; and Kellie (Jimmy) Colston, Ringgold;  brother, Larry Harris, East Ridge;  4 grandchildren, Harrison Colston, Hannah Colston, Gracey Fryar, and Abbey Fryar;  several nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, April 25th at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel.
