Glen "Ray" Minnick Jr.

Glen "Ray" Minnick Jr, 59 of Chattanooga TN passed away peacefully on Monday May 30, 2022. He was the son of Diana Minnick and Glen Ray Minnick Sr.

In his youth, Ray was active in the American Boy Scouts and graduated from Tyner High School where he participated in the band. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was a faithful man who loved his Lord. His compassion and caring was shown in the contributions he made to many charities and churches over the years.

He loved to read and spending time with his family. Ray will be remembered as a wonderful loving son and brother and had a loving extended family that will miss him dearly.

Ray is survived by his mother Diana Minnick; his sisters, Suzette Melville and Chrissie (Skip) Padgett; nieces, Madison Melville and Emily Padgett and nephew Pete Padgett.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Rd with Pastor David Hall officiating.  

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, prior to the service from 12 - 2 pm. 

Memorial donations in Ray's name may be made to Christ United Methodist Church https://christchurchchatt.org/dev/index.php/give-back

Interment will be Monday, June 6 at 2PM in Forest Hills Cemetery.
