Harry G Ensley

Harry G. Ensley, 87 of Apison passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018.  Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Margaret Ensley and sister, Louise Ensley.  He was a member of the Apison United Methodist Church.  Harry was a graduate of Ooltewah High School, and the University of Chattanooga.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, retired from DuPont after 42 years of service, a member of the Hamilton County Agriculture Hall of Fame, and was a former employee of Potts Brothers Land and Auction Company.  Harry enjoyed his farm and cattle and he felt so blessed, and he was always willing to help anyone in need. 

Survivors include many cousins in North Carolina and Dahlonega, Georgia; Sara Lou (Don) Cornutt, Chattanooga; special friends, David Coffee, Dennis Green, and Winifred Coffee; and many other friends. 

The family wishes to thank the staff of Life Care Center of Ooltewah for the special care they gave Harry.

Services will be at 3 P. M., Friday, January 12, 2018 at Apison United Methodist Church with Rev. Debbie Stokes and Rev. Jake Herron officiating.  Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery.
