Mary “Helen” Huskey Davis entered into Paradise by the saving grace of Jesus Christ on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the age of 90. She was in the comfort of her home and in the presence of her family at the time of her passing.
She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother, known as “Granny”.
Raise in Georgia, she moved to Chattanooga early in her adult life and married Clarence Andrew Davis and raised her 2 children.
She worked the majority of her professional career as dispatcher in the trucking industry to companies that mainly delivered fuels, chemicals, specialty products, and also food products. She retired from Kenan Transport, one of such companies.
Family was always a priority for Helen. She loved being surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews.
She was an animal lover, especially of her dogs and took interest in collecting dolls, coins, and antiques.
She was a foodie and an amazing cook. Additionally she was competitive at card games, board games, and video games amongst family and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Davis; and son, Randy Davis; and 13 siblings.
Survivors are her daughter, Dedra (Michael) Davis Nentwig; 3 grandchildren, Brandie Cannon, Andy (Jessica) Nentwig, and Ryan (Katie) Kennedy; 4 great-grandchildren, Gage Compton, Elena Kennedy, Elijah Kennedy, and Arielle Nentwig.
Services will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, April 28, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ken Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Kennedy, Andy Nentwig, Michael Nentwig, Jeff Steele, Cody Robinson Steele, Jerry Huskey, and Kaleb Biddle.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 pm and Thursday from 10-11:30 am at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
