Henrietta Buell

Henrietta Walgate Buell “Hedi”, 88, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2019.

She was born in Buffalo, NY, to the late Fredrick and Clara Walgate. She and her husband lived on Grand Island, NY, before retiring to Chattanooga. Hedi was an amazing business woman and wife, she enjoyed traveling to Europe.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Walter Buell; brother, Richard Walgate; sister, Margaret Carpenter; stepbrother, Fredrick Walgate; and stepson, Paul Buell.

She is survived by her stepson, James Buell; niece, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

The family wants to thank her amazing care manager, Chris Duggan of Care Connections, whom Hedi was very fond of. She said to Chris, “You are my #1”, also, thanks to Haven Smith, Caregiver that took a special interest in Hedi.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Martins of Tours Episcopal Church, or Kindred Hospice of Chattanooga.

A private graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
