Henry Harris

Henry Robert Harris went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 7, 2018.

He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Force. He was retired from Electro-Motive a division of General Motors, as a Machinist, after 30 years of service.

His passion was volunteering in different ministries, namely Prison Fellowship, Bill Glass Ministries, Chattanooga Prison Ministry, and Witnessing for his Savior Jesus Christ.

He was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cola Anderson Harris; son Jonathan Brian Harris; daughters, Janice Harris Sims, Vallorie Harris O’Neal; brother, Robert L. Harris; sister, Hattie Harris Roberts; 2 grandsons; 3 great-grandsons; 3 great-grandaughters; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, June 15 at Morris Hill Baptist Church with Brother Bill Mason officiating. The family will receive friends prior to service from 11-1 PM.
