I was so sorry to hear of Rick's passing; I have know Rick since the 1980's.
I saw a ad for a little puppy that was on TV and I knew how much Rick loved the Golden Retriever puppies he raised and had him on my mind last night and went to look him up and saw the obit. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.
He was one of a king. will miss him.

What a shock to learn of Rick's too soon passing! He was a long time member of South Chickamauga Creek Greenway Alliance participating in many creek cleanups and actions to promote building of the greenway especially near Lightfoot Mill Road and his neighborhood. He called me recently and I invited him to come to a City Council meeting to support efforts to keep water clean. He did. More personally, he gave his adorable cat KC (kitty cat) to us thinking she would be safer at our home than his. He visited her occasionally. Rick was always working on his house and we commiserated with him when he lost so much of it in the fire. He was a loving son always concerned about his mother's welfare. Our sympathies to the family. (Photos have been sent.)

Rick was quite the character and had a unique way of doing things. He helped fix my super long, hilly, driveway & installed my kitchen faucet. It was amazing that he could do so many different things. I will miss him forever.

My friendship began in 82 with Rick he is the sweetest person I’ve ever known!
I’ve seen him threw his wild and fast days threw his marriage and his move back home, on his houseboat, and his pride of buying the Home place and his loss of the fire, and rebuilding.
Rick weathered all his losses and continued on.
He loved his Mom and didn’t want to get far from her.
I had a tragic illness 2 yrs ago and Rick researched as he did everything and came to Nashville to stay with us to help.
Rick stayed and sat with me so my husband could leave to do other things he cried with me and helped us so much.
I talked to him on Xmas and he was planning to come stay with us at end of this month, I am still in shock and can’t believe this has happened.
We both love Rick and have a hole inside loosing him.
I am so sorry for the families loss and just want you to know how special and kind he was.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Rick's family and friends. So sorry for the sudden loss of a generous man. Rick was quite the character to work with for many years. He worked hard and definitely played hard and could always make you laugh. His career with the Corps was special to him, especially his performance as a diver. He will be well remembered.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Rick Fisher. The Fisher's had/have been a neighbor of ours since I was a child, at least 40+ years. Rick was always very helpful to our family, especially when my parents became older and could not do certain things around the house. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher were great neighbors as well, and when Rick moved into his parents home he continued being their for many long time neighbors of Cherokee Woods Subdivision. He will be missed!! God Bless!!
