Imogene Leavelle, 100, of Ooltewah went to sleep in the Lord on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019.
A resident of Ooltewah for the past 12 years, Mrs. Leavelle was a member of the Chattanooga First Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She was an avid gardener, quilter, seamstress and doll maker. She was an expert scroll-sawer, wonderful cook and baker and loved to climb trees (in her heels).
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ollie Ray Starnes; her first husband, Ollie Lee Starnes; second husband, Robert Beachum; and third husband, Elvin “Buddy” Leavelle.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Easter and Gene Fowler, Ooltewah; eight grandchildren, Lynda (Johnny) Stevens, Wellington, NV; Randy (Debbie) Fowler, Ooltewah, DeAnn (David) Milly, Orange Beach, AL, Tracy (Don) Campbell, Warner Robbins, GA, Allen (Patti Wite) Demsky, Nevada, Troy (Elysai Kim) Beisigl, Brian Ray (Dawn) Beisigl, all of San Diego, CA, April Demsky, Michigan. Sammy & Shirley Davis, and June Thompson, also survive.
two nieces, Marinell Lindbeck, Las Cruces, NM and Lillie Mae Reeves, Phoenix, AZ; twelve great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
