James D. "Corkey" Cooke

James D. “Corkey” Cooke, 90, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

James was a former member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and current member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean L. Cooke; parents, Raymond “Pete” and Velma Cooke; son, Terry Dale Cooke; daughter, Debby Dale; brother, Charles Cooke; sister, Peggy Denton; and nephew, Eddie Cooke.

He is survived by his nephews, Tim (Rita) Cooke, Kelly (Diana) Cooke, Vic Denton; and niece, Sharon (Mike) Bailey Denton.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 14th in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens South.
