James Ronald Durham

James Ronald Durham, 91, of Chattanooga passed away at his home this week.

Born October 8, 1929 to the late Charles and Lorayne Durham, Mr. Durham was an alumna of Central High School and Chattanooga University.

Jim had a successful career in the moving business.  Known as “The Rock” to friends and rivals alike, Jim was an avid athlete and played golf almost daily well into his 80’s.

He was a member of GraceWorks  Church.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Catherine Durham.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 14th at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.    Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
