Janet Emily (Lytle) Wade

Janet Emily Lytle Wade, 74, passed away on Saturday afternoon, May 25, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, to missionary parents serving near Lima, Peru, under the Independent Bible Presbyterian Mission Board from 1943-53.

Janet lived in Chattanooga since 1961, married James Huston Wade in 1971, and helped continue the Christian heritage her parents had given her (Ps. 127).

She was a faithful member of Covenant Presbyterian (PCA) and worked at Precept Ministries from 1982-2008.

Mrs. Wade is preceded in death by Philip and Emily Lytle, parents, and Huston Wade, husband.

She is survived by Phyllis Massey, Kenneth (Hope) Lytle, and Stephen (Paula) Lytle, siblings; Mark (Deanna) Wade, Karen (Terry) Plemons, Philip (Sarah) Wade, and Sara Beth Wade, children; and nine grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Pastors John Jones and Eric Mullinax officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, East.
