Janie Francisco Gatlin, 78, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully on September 27, 2019.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Janie graduated from Central High School in 1958 where she was active in many of the school activities.
She was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church and a former Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Gatlin was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Elizabeth Wilson; her first husband, Larry Eugene Wilson; and second husband, Glen F. Gatlin.
She is survived by her daughter, Chris Wilson Walker; two grandchildren, Whitney Taylor Walker, and Wilson Tyler (Flora Ziliak) Walker, all of Chattanooga.
Mrs. Gatlin was laid to rest on October 16th at the Chattanooga National Cemetery by her beloved husband, Glen.
A Celebration of Life Service and Reception will be held Sunday, October 27th at 2 pm at The Bridge of Ooltewah.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McKamey Animal Center.
