Jean (Miracle) Hollis

Jean Hollis, 84, of Chattanooga passed away on December 12, 2018 in a local health care center.

A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Hollis was a graduate of Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing and retired from Parkridge Medical Center after 19 years of service.

She was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hollis was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Boyd Hollis.

She is survived by her son, Greg (Debra) Hollis, Soddy Daisy; brother, Bruce (Joan) Miracle, Cincinnati, OH; two grandchildren, Zachary (Bronwyn) Hollis and Olivia (Hunter) Shankle;  great-grandson, Boyd Bascum Hollis; daughter in law, Sheila Albritton, Red Bank.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 17, 2018 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Richard Mason officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.
