Jeana C. Howell

Jeana C. Howell, 60 of Chattanooga, TN, departed this life Friday, July 17, 2020. 

Jeana was a graduate of Tyner High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  Her IT career included services at TVA and Blue Cross.  Jeana was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church where she rang in the Handbell Choir.  Jeana was a devoted bell ringer for about 45 years, most of those at Brainerd Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Ruth Howell of Chattanooga, TN.

She is survived by her sister, Denise Howell Woodson and brother-in-law John L. Woodson, III of Wilmington, NC.

Due to limitations associated with coronavirus, a celebration of Jeana’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jeana’s memory to the Handbell Choir at Brainerd Baptist Church, 300 Brookfield Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37411 or to Salvation Army Tornado Assistance, 822 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
