Jeffery Blane Taliaferro

Jeffery Blane Taliaferro, born on September 1, 1957, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the age of 63.

Jeff was a Salesman and Project Manager by trade; a wise and humble man whose generosity and kindness impacted everyone who knew him. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need. A wonderful husband and father, his love and support was unconditional and always felt. He inspired others, always leading by example and treating others the way he’d want to be treated. His frequent advice was always to “just take a step back, look that at the big picture; and then you’ll see the actions that need to be taken to make it happen”.

He was an animal lover, a charitable donor, and a wonderful cook. His passion for music can be seen and heard in his extensive guitar collection. He loved hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains and Enterprise Park with his wife and dog, and taking road trips down to Florida with his family.

He is survived by his wife Caroline; daughter Amanda; two sons Shaun and Hunter; and granddaughter Rose.  His wit, charm, infectious laugh, and words of wisdom will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and confidants.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 14, at Saint Martin Episcopal Church, 7547 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.  The family will receive friends who wish to pay their respects immediately following the service from 2-3 PM. For those that are unable to attend the service, we will share a livestream link by request. There will be a Memorial Tree burial, planted in Enterprise Park for loved ones to visit.
