Jeffrey Stevens, 63, of Apison, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Jeffrey was born on August 24, 1958, to his late parents, David John and Shirley Marie Stevens.
He is survived by his sisters, Sharon (David) Hopper and Susan Myers; nieces, Jaime Myers, Jackie (Eric) Bates, Kelsey (Weston) Porter, and Kayla (Travis) Bibb; nephews, Chris, Allen (Emmalee) and Jonathan (Sheri) Hopper; and twelve great-nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey graduated with a bachelor’s degree from UTC in business administration. He was a corporate senior food safety and quality specialist for McKee Foods. From a young age, Jeffrey loved to play piano and was with the gospel group, The Heritage Singers. He had a great love for nature and loved to travel all over the world, especially Brazil, UK, Chile, and many tropical places.
Jeffrey was an instrumental member and the glue that held together the Palm Society through his writing and editing of publications. Jeffrey will be remembered for being a great uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, October 2, at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel with Pastor Mike Pettengill officiating.
A visitation will be held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, October 2 at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Rd.
