Jeremy Doyle Walker

Jeremy Doyle “Fatboy” Walker, 48, of East Ridge, passed away on July 1, 2017 at his home.  He was the husband of Andrea Cook Walker. They shared over 24 years of marriage together and they had two sons, Dylan and Bryson whom Jeremy adored.  Jeremy was born on April 28, 1969 in Chattanooga, TN to Joyce Waller Walker and the late William Doyle Walker.  He attended school in Fort Oglethorpe, GA and graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School.  He was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church and a former member of South Seminole Baptist and East Chattanooga Baptist.  Jeremy previously worked as an Operations Manager at Prater’s Flooring Inc. He also worked at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Lowe’s, and Walter A. Woods Supply.  Jeremy will be remembered for his quick wit and humor. He didn’t care what anyone thought and always spoke the truth, whether you liked it or not. He liked 80’s rock music, college football, NASCAR, golf and anything Star Wars. He also enjoyed going to Disney World with his family. He loved watching his boys play sports and was very proud of them.  He always wanted the best for his family and gave generously. Jeremy was preceded in death by his father William Doyle Walker, grandparents Curtis and Louise Waller, and great grandmother Cora Walker.

He is survived by his wife Andrea, sons Dylan and Bryson, mother Joyce Walker, sister Jessica Walker, father and mother in-law Freddy and Sharon Cook, brother and sister in-law Rev. Bobby and Kim Cook, nephews Graham, Braydon and Riley, along with many other beloved family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 PM, Wednesday, July 5, 2017  at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Cook officiating.  Burial will be follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South, 325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA.

Memorial contributions can be made to Chattanooga Christian School.
