Jerry Lambert

Jerry Lambert, 77, of Ringgold, Georgia, peacefully passed in his sleep on May 3, 2019.

Born December 7, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James and Bernice Lambert.

Jerry moved with his family to Oklahoma in 1971, but then returned to the north Georgia area in 1978.

Jerry was a Georgia Tech alumni, a devoted and committed Christian, a lifetime sports fan (GO Yellow Jackets) and an avid golfer. 

Jerry and Norma were partners in life and also with their family owned business for the last four decades.   He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.  Jerry never met a stranger, and made everyone feel like they had known him for a lifetime.

He was a member of Graceworks Church.

Jerry is survived by the love of his life of 51 years, Norma Rice Lambert;  son, Jeff (Julie) Lambert, Rock Springs, GA;  daughter, Julia (Trent) Dawson, Brentwood, TN;  four grandchildren, Drake and Gavin Dawson,  Julianna and Jenna Lambert; and his devoted dog, Missy;   three sisters, Gay Chaney, Fayetteville, GA, Sue (Jim) Stovall, Roswell, GA, Jenny (Dale) Bundy, Marietta, Ga; brother, Don (Betty) Lambert, Texarkana, AR; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, May 8th at 2 p.m. at Graceworks Church, 6445 Lee Highway.
