Joanne (Stevens) Weyers

Joanne Stevens Weyers, 91 of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Weyers and son-in-law, Jerry Thompson.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Nancy Thompson; son, Richard (Barbara) Shipner; four grandchildren, Jennifer Shipner, Steven (Julia) Shipner, Heather Weyers and Scott (Sharon) Weyers and four great-grandchildren, Ella Rosemary Shipner, Julia and Anthony Weyers and Jackie Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Tyner United Methodist Church, 6805 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Suite 6, Chattanooga, TN 37421. 

Per the current health situation and mandate of the Hamilton County Mayor, visitors must adhere to all CDC guidelines, including social distancing and the wearing of facial coverings for visitation and/or services.
